As I write, I enjoy sweet memories of teaching a Japanese Shoden (Reiki 1) class on Star Island last week. Though Hurricane Hermine delayed our departure by two days, four of us embarked on this journey. We arrived on a tranquil day and enjoyed a lovely three night stay.
The class was attended by an acupuncturist from Brooklyn, NY and a couple from Massachusetts. It was a sacred and grounding time. What a blessing to have received four individual Reiki attunements on Star! The best part of the retreat was creating an outdoor room under a steady fir tree. We did outdoor Reiki treatments all afternoon. My soul remains full from these experiences.
My intention is to bring Reiki 1 to Star Island in spring 2017, and to offer Reiki 2 in the fall.
